The Problem

Modern sports generate enormous amounts of data, but much of it remains fragmented across different systems and is rarely transformed into timely decisions. In football, clubs and federations collect player performance, scouting, medical, governance, and fan data, yet important decisions about tactics, injuries, transparency, discrimination, and major tournament safety are often made reactively. During events such as the FIFA World Cup, additional challenges—including online abuse, governance risks, ticket fraud, visa scams, and human trafficking—require faster and more coordinated decision-making. Formula 1 faces a similar challenge: every race produces millions of telemetry data points, and teams must make critical decisions about tyres, pit stops, battery management, and race strategy within seconds, often with incomplete information.
